what to do,do?300d/240d

Hi, My 85 300d only has 140k,auto,turbo runs good,and good trans mission. This poor girl took her final voyage 1 yr ago when I was forced off of highway and took heavy frame and suspension damage to a already rusty to the core undercarriage. Last year I bought a 83 240d for 500.00. It`s a 4speed runs fine and good tranny. Love the new fuel mpg. but feels like a slug. Can I swap engines easily or put the turbo in 240 off of my 300d ?
