Post More Details On This

I have an occasional access to injection pump cores so I've been grabbing the old OFV's off them and measuring the tiny little springs .

All seem to be 23MM long and most show significant wear , making this new stronger spring a better sounding idea every day .

The one I stretched to 27 MM per the FSM , worked for a while then I noticed a drop in power yesterday , removed it and was able to blow through it , not a good sign so I took the least worn spring from my pile of old OF valves and installed it ~ bingo ! back to more power and *much* smoother running .

Here's hoping greezer gets in another bunch of his up rated 617 turbo springs ere long .
