Does somebody makes high performance hydraulic cam shaft for 603.960 ?

Someone got Crower Cams to regrind their 606 cam so might be worth a look

I’ve got a good spare 603 cam to sell if you need it. That way you can keep your car running until it’s done. Just throwing it out there
There are a number of cam regrinders around, diesel profiles may be tricky though...

better question, are certain cams better than others? i know the injection pumps have different cam profiles between the early, na, 3.5l and combinations of each.. i can only assume the engine cams also differ.

anyone have any practical knowledge about the cams tho? if certain years are better than others?

The 3.5 camshaft has more lift.

Replaced my cracked 014 with an 017 head. Since both came where on my bench I checked and the .971 had more lift. I didn't not the exact value, but I recall around a mm.
