While I'm always busier in NY than FL, I'll do my best to find time to make a GTG. Can't bring the boat as it's not mine....
Just got the timing chain changed, new valve seals done, brakes and a few other things done for the summer with the SL. Like I said, I'll do my best to make the GTG where ever it is.

Hatt? Almost looks like a Donzi 65. I must be tired I should be able to tell.:o The windows in the bridge are messing me up, custom?

You should see the custom boat I work on. It was built by someone related to Rybovich, not quite sure of the whole story. Tons of custom wood work, bilge is Awgriped to perfection.

2006 New Englands

I love this conversation on boats, I almost purchased a GB 42, Beautiful boat and lots of usable room, not to shabby in a head sea either. I was at the Rybo shop a few years back and was throughly impressed with their craftmanship.

I love sailing and sail boat racing too.

Maybe we should start our own diesel boat forum.

This conversation on boats is fun, but what about that MEET :D

I'm planning to come up to Boston on Sunday, June 11 and will be staying in Boston for a week, driving back to NJ on Friday, June 16... Any of you diesel guys in the Boston neck of the woods?

I am in South Western RI. North Kingstown/Exeter. 10 Minutes from historic Wickford Seaport and Narragansett bay, 20 minutes to the beaches and Newport. 1 minute, maybe 30 seconds from Exeter country club (GOLF, open to the public).

We will give CSX293 a few more days, maybe he is busy. Luckly we have a plan B!:D

MTUpower 05-19-2006 12:00 PM

Yeah it's a Donzi, laid in 87. I'll be offline for a bit in NY as the boat does not have internet. Hatterasguy give me a call with meet time when they are a bit more concrete.

I N E E D a date so I can schedule a business trip for the Friday before!!!!!! I need to travel to Mystic which is close enough to most anything being planned in RI.

Sorry to press the issue - but - Business is Business (now that I own 2)

2006 New England Meet

June 24th is fine with us. There are a number of things we can do. If we decide to use my place, we can meet there have lunch, take a cruise along the RI southern coast line (Jamestown, Newport, Narragansett, Point Judith etc and then head back to the house for a cook out.

OR; There are quite a few terrific places we can stop along the cruise for lunch (picnic) and streach our legs. Lots of great places for dinner as well.

We have a few walkie talkies but anyone who has some may want to bring them along.

2006 New England meet

I am also out, will be in Florida that weekend, hope it can be done again soon or at some other date

CSX293 05-21-2006 04:18 PM

Hi everyone - sorry for my absence, been crazy busy the last few days. I am still open to hosting, my place probably isn't as big as Jack's:o .25 acre and a 28 x 48 ft garage next to the house. Perhaps Jack and I should chat and figure out a plan. 24th is good for me.

Jack, I will send a PM with my number.

Fred
