So, Sept. 5th is a go, right?

Chad, it looks like from I95/ Commo. Barry Bridge, the Blue Route to the NE Extension to DeKalb Pike is the most direct?
Count me as a definite maybe. ;) Gotta clear it with the Commissar.:o
Traffic shouldn't be too bad on Sat. How long from the NE/476 connection is it?

Yes it is.

That route may be direct but you'll hit many traffic lights on Dekalb Pike/Rt. 202.

I'm about 1/2 hour from there, 15 minutes from the Fort Washington Exit of the PA Turnpike and less than 1 mile from the Rt. 309 and Rt. 202 intersection at the Montgomery Mall.

95% likely to make it, I'm down in Baltimore this time of year.

I'll bring along parts from the soon-to-be parts car if you guys want to bring some cash for a poor student:D

Woohoo! Only three weeks away. I can hardly wait.

Chad300tdt 08-17-2009 06:28 PM

The home brew I made for the GTG has been bottled for a bit over a week now.

I decided to have a sample for quality assurance.

It's a German Bock (7% ABV) that tastes like a Trappist Ale (CHIMAY red cap). I think it may be the best batch I've brewed to date.

Chad, you throw a helluva nice GTG. Thanks for all the effort you put into getting ready for it. I'm looking forward to seeing everybody again.

Fulcrum525 08-24-2009 01:22 PM

I'll be supplying burgers, sausages, portobella mushrooms, yellow squash, red onions, home brew, Michelob Amber Bock, and various sodas.

I'm also trying to come up with prizes to give out for different categories like who drove the longest to get there, etc.

If anyone has anything they can offer as a prize, let me know.

I'll be putting up a bundt style hub cap clock for one of the prizes. I also have a brand new can of Aero-Kroil which I think would make a good prize.

Chad's brew has received the Swamp Seal of Approval! It's very tasty!

Now to just figure out how to finagle my schedule to consume some more...

Chad300tdt 08-24-2009 02:41 PM

I hope you can work it out Swamp. There are even other possible rides from your neck of the woods.;)

I wonder if Hattie will make it this year.

Dee8go 08-24-2009 03:33 PM
