Since there are so many pages now, can someone remind me of the date/time and location? I thought this was going to be in August.

Chad300tdt 09-07-2010 04:30 PM

Here's the info post.

Bring folding chairs if you have them. I have some chairs, but not enough for everyone to have a seat.

We have a number of people staying locally so it looks like the party will go pretty late. We'll light the fire pit and turn on the outdoor lighting so we won't be sitting in the dark. :D

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on the 18th. If anyone is staying locally Friday night, feel free to stop by and hang out to get the festivities kicked off.

We can start at 11am and go until whenever. I'll provide food and beverages again but anyone is welcome to bring something.

Let's get a head count so I can plan for the food and drink.

I live about 1 mile from the Montgomery Mall to give you an idea of where I am. I'll give my address via PM to everyone that will be coming.

JHZR2 09-07-2010 06:49 PM

Count us in - we will try to make it...

If we can work it out, we will bring both the 240D and the 300CD... unless we decide to bring a BMW to the show, in which case we might bring a brand new 2011 135i convertible... to add some diversity to the fest.

Dee8go 09-07-2010 10:09 PM

I can't believe it's nearly upon us again! Now, we both have cars that don't leak, just in case it decides to rain again like it did a couple of years ago.

LUVMBDiesels 09-08-2010 08:58 AM

I am a possible - depends on the wifey's schedule.;)

We will be in FoxyCleopatra the Big, Black, and Bad Suburban :D

tivoliman 09-09-2010 10:13 AM

A gentleman named Werner has asked to come. He will drive either his diesel or the Smart car he owns.

Summary: Add 1 more guest and one more car.

Dee8go 09-09-2010 10:26 AM

Looking forward to seeing everybody again. It'll be nice to take a break from doing carpentry.

Are you building a wooden benz?

Chad300tdt 09-10-2010 11:32 AM

I just finished making the name tags for all forum members like we had last year.

When you get here, find your name tag, write your real name on it and stick it on yourself so everyone knows who you are.

Any guests of forum members can fill out a blank name tag.

Yes. I'm better at woodworking than I am at mechanical stuff, so I'm sticking with what I know . . .

Louis (and Chickie)

KarTek 09-12-2010 08:06 PM

Well, I was going to bomb up there Saturday morning but I thought; "Screw it, I'll drive up halfway after work on Friday and then the rest of the way Saturday."

So, I'm booked into the Days in Fredricksburg, VA for both the trip up and back so I can stay as long as I want on Saturday. It was cheap and I'll be able to enjoy myself more.

See you all there!

Oh, the wheels have steel surfaces like a wagon wheel, of course. I probably get 50,000 miles out of those bad boys.
