Fall 2014 Central Florida Benz Bash

Seeing as the last GTG I had was an utter flop lets try again for this fall.

I'm thinking late September/October when the weather is a bit more reasonable and it would be in Windermere on a Saturday. I'll verify with the HOA that I can use the big grass field behind my town home to host the GTG for a few hours and go from there.

If you're interested in attending put your name down and suggest a date. If we get enough people committed maybe we can see about some raffle prizes from pelican parts.

Mid-Oct would be nice - if the stars align - nothing needs fixing - no other projects interfere - and so on... sigh.

At the last one, Judy and I drove over 1000 miles (round trip), 2 nights in motels, and had a good time and enjoyed meeting people and you still consider it as a UTTER FLOP. So for this one, we will probably not show up and you will have a GREAT turn out.

Best of luck

Sorry it came out bad. It was nice having you visit. I felt bad it was only with 4 or 5 other people when my last GTG's had dozens of cars

I'm done. No more GTG's from me in FL.

Don, DON'T give up on having more meets. What I was saying is we had a great time but if we show, up others won't. That is just our luck. So this time we won't show up so you will have so many to show up that the area behind your townhome will be overflowing.
In reality, we didn't come down just for the GTG. It was just a long weekend get-away that just happened to be the same weekend. It worked out great for us except Judy was a little under the weather which is why we left early.
By the way, we have found that April is the best time to travel, or have outdoor activities. The weather is mild in most of the US and the traffic is not as bad. August is HOT and September/October/November weather is questionable.
