Ok everyone here are the details for the hotel and GTG in Morro Bay. Meeting Saturday June 28th, 03 in Morro Bay.......ETA 11AM or later. Check into hotels prior to actual meet.

More rooms are available if necessary so we can all stay in one place! For those of you bring families/friends more or larger beds are availabe, please call the hotel to arrange. The only downside is I'm not sure how nice this hotel is BUT this event is not about the hotel it's about the 500's and meeting everyone (can you tell I'm already covering my butt. :p )

After everyone has arrived I'd like to head to a local park (arranging this) where we can talk, take photo's and check out all the different 500's. Since most of us will be driving long distances on Saturday we will hold off the drive until Sunday early Morning. I'll do a search for a Dinner Location in Morro Bay (please chime in with any suggestions) We'll probably have to make reservations to accomodate the whole crew so a headcount will be necessary.

An absolutely beautiful western drive up the Coastal Range and down into the town of Harmony/Cambria.
Breathtaking views & vistas, even if you're travelling close to triple digits.

More importantly, the sweepers are incredible.

From there we turn left/south onto Highway 101 have dinner either in Harmony (Pasta Factory), Cayucus (The Sea Shanty), or Morro Bay (Taco Temple- preferred!).

Total Driving Distance: 51.2 Miles Approx. 1hr15mins


After the drive Sunday morning we all meet for breakfast or brunch at a local Morro Bay restuarant. We can chat for a while longer and depart mid afternoon.
