You can get the FSM on ebay or at the MBUSA Classics site for about $20 It covers all 123 styles.

The factory DVD, or All Data subscription, MB also sells a subscription service.
The 140 I have is good not great, seems to be a compilation of the manuals that were never published.
My 210 is in a completely different format, but does the job.
You have to remember the MB DVD is copy protected...
I think MB shut down braingears.

W124 Service manual - diff

I'm looking for the W124 MB service manual section on the 300E 4matic rear diff. Anyone have a PDF you could email to me?

PM me please!

Thanks!!

Which ones are you looking for? Many from MBUSA are only $20 - that's a bargain.

I have a 1994 SL500 (129 chassis). Does anyone know where I can purchase a service manual in cd version?

Just bought some for 50's era ponton this week for $20. For the older models, click on the Classic Center link on the MBUSA site and go to Technical Literature.

Good, Complete Service Manual for 1985 300SD?

Wanted to see what the best manual was for my 1985 300SD. I've gotten the service manual for the 617.95 turbo diesel but stops at 1984. Is there one that covers everything from the bumper to the other bumper?

lietuviai 07-01-2007 12:36 PM

There should be a FSM for the 126 body. As far as the 85 models there's a supplement called an Introduction Manual for that year. I have one.:D

It's probably WIS (and not even WIS.net). The most unintuitive interface ever devised by man or beast, but the information is there.

The 210 DVD is a whole lot better (especially if you don't have the 722.4 transmission).

Having a frustratiing time finding a W210 manual...

I've spent literally hours looking through the old posts, the multiple links - dead, alive and otherwise. Suspicious ebay merchandise... Nothing seems to be what I'm looking for. I don't want a subscription and the CD's I've seen seem to be kind of funky. I'm just looking for something that's complete at a reasonable price. :dizzy2:

I have a Ford truck manual from Helm and it's perfect. It has step by step instructions, torque figures, etc... Granted, it was almost $200 but it covers a bunch of models and looks like 2 metropolitan phone books. I'd love to find something like this for my E300 it would be great. Even if it's on CD, that's fine too.

Any ideas?

Thanks! There's some links I haven't seen before!

The manual from MB is worth the money, although the DVD is copy-protected.

My only (other) gripe about it is the lack of coverage for the 722.4 transmission in my car. You don't have that problem.

W251 Star Service Manual on DVD Available

This has just been released: P/N: P-2700-251-07 and can be purchased from MBUSA at: 1-800-FOR-MERCedes.

Does anyone know if it includes the 320CDI (OM642) engine? Reason for asking is that the recently released version for the W164 and X164 do not include the 320CDI info; and I would like to get the engine info.

mbdoc 07-17-2007 08:17 AM

Yes, I just looked at my R251 DVD & it does have the OM642 engine...the W164 dvd SHOULD have that engine but I'm sure you know that it doesn't.
