Useful program for copying picture off the EPCnet for posts.

This program is a very useful program for copying picture off the EPCNet and JPG files so they can be posted on the forum when asking questions.

http://www.wisdom-soft.com/products/screenhunter.htm

The Free version is all I use.

I used it to capture the EPC picture in this post

Questions on removing a 1985 300D transmission, How to questons.

Attached is a capture of the service manual from a PDF file.

I just use the ALT+Print Screen function, trim it with photo editing software and upload it to photobucket. Works just as well.

Well I downloaded but declined to install after reading the license agreement. Have to agree to let some site control the default search engine that appears in the title bar if I understood correctly. Hmmm. A couple years ago my computer somehow acquired a search engine in the title bar (can't recall the name; not any of the common ones I see around). Was not in the Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel. Did some searches to find out how to remove it. Removed it and it kept coming back. Don't know how I got rid of it. Might have been after the motherboard died and I replaced with a new one and cleaned the hard drive and reformatted. (I'm not blaming the program for the motherboard demise).
I would like to hear if you are experiencing any such annoyances. Right now I'll live with Alt-Prt Scr.

I installed the program and the removed the search engine. Still works fine. It showed up on the program add/remove section in the control panel. The beauty of it is that it saves the file as a .JPG file in whatever folder you want and you can then either adjust it for size in a photo program or use it as saved. I have not had any problems with using the program for the last 8 months.

Get PDF printing software. I use something called PDFCreator, which is free and works great. Then simply print from that or any other application to create PDF documents, as it looks like a printer to Windows. PDFs are much smaller than JPEG images in most cases.

The built-in screen capture feature in every OS works just as well. They all have the option to capture the entire screen, specific window or selected section. There is no need to install a malware filled 3-rd party app to do it.

I don't have Windows. I just take it for granted that most free Windows applications don't install just the program and usually install things like a search bar or trial applications. raslaje did the right thing and read the license agreement before installing.

Besides, why install software when the OS already has the features built in?

Pressing PrintScreen will copy an image of your screen to memory. Open a graphics editing application, Crtl+V and save it.
Press Alt+PrintScreen will capture the currently selected window.

OS X users have the added benefit of Command+Shift+4 to capture a manually selected section of the screen. OS X also saves the capture directly to the desktop.

The attached picture is directly what I captured a second ago.

Answer

These programs will print the total PDF, regardless of how many pages it is.
