Been busy lately, but here is a quick pic of my new '93 300E (love it) and

also in the foreground a '63 Piaggio 150, finally got it , and the only thing that will keep me out of the 300E.............

I also had a '93 300E, and I absolutely loved it.

In the rest of the world, this model was badged as a 320E.

I have no idea why MB didn't badge this as a 300E 3.2 like they did the '93 300E 2.8.

The Piaggio is addictive to ride. Especially down here in the warm weather.

And I just paid 3.9499 for super unleaded and put $62.62 into the 300E for the weekend.....

I'm looking for an E, that looks like a nice one. Any opinions here on the 3.0 SOHC vs 3.2 DOHC? Power? Weight? Economy? Ease of maintenance?

Which are the years to avoid because of the infamous self-destructing wiring?

Does a wagon ride as well as a sedan? Aside from the rear suspension, are they mechanically alike?
