HELLO GANG!

due to illnesses i need to let go of my beloved diesel. last year i had a stroke, this year i have cancer on right kidney.. i can't wait to see what's in store for next year.. maybe childbirth??

car has 266,000 miles with strong engine, light ivory but has been under tree for sometime and needs cleaning.

issues include: drivers seat ok but needs help/replacing as previous owner must have weighed 300lbs.

air filter housing needs wing nut.. i lost the original and now unit becomes loose and i have to re-tighten.

oil sprays out of hose that runs from breather to top of engine.. i have new hose but need to order the end pieces

freon leak in ac.. i have it filled once a year, but we haven't found leak.. nice and cold when it has r-12

right rear window does not work and no cruise control

needs new tires

car is now in wilmington,nc 28403 but i have to move to clinton, nc 28328 for better care while taking this pill for cancer.. no matter where i am, while still on earth of course, phone number is 910-338-4952

asking only $250.00 because i need to pay deposit on utility in clinton and don't have the moolah now since i can't work because of stroke.. in fact i can't type well with only left hand so excuse the way this looks

I'm really sorry to hear that about your health. $250 isn't much at all for that car! I know you're trying to get rid of it quick, otherwise I'd be able to jump on it in a few weeks. Still, good luck with the sale and everything else.

Under the circumstances you've disclosed, I would purchase your car on the following basis:

I pay $250.
Fly down, replace tires, drive back to Michigan.
Make simple/quick repairs with the help of others posting on this forum.
List on ebay, cl, here, autotrader (and ask fair price!)
Pay you difference between sales price and cost to pickup/repair/sell.

Perhaps there are other forum members closer to you that would be willing to do the same? This would reduce "costs" and potentially result in more return to you?

If you have no offers, let me know and I'll arrange for payment and a one-way ticket to Wilmington.
