FS: 1981 Turbo MB 300TD wagon $6300 in NC

The FIRST Turbo wagon! 1981 five cylinder Turbo Diesel station wagon. Runs great at 261,111 miles. Recent certified odometer replaced without missing a single mile. Running smooth on 100% biodiesel at about 28mpg. This car it NOT converted. You can use regular diesel anytime, closer to 26mpg.
January brand New silver paint, changed from original gold color. Original Benz alloy rims and good tires. Check out all this recent service...within 6 months.
Alignment, all New Belts, all New Brakes and lines flushed, fresh fuel filters, New Battery under 3 year warranty
I have progressively used more biodiesel as the weather warmed up and changed filters regularly as the cleaner lubercating biodiesel flushed the fuel tank. New fuel gauge sending unit, newer power steering and water pump! Glow plugs work great, starts fine in the winter
All electric windows work, manual sunroof slides easy with no leaks, original Becker AM/FM cassette with NEW working antennae mast. Even the window washer was restored.
Vaccum locks work well, extra master key just made, and no sagging in suspension.
The few things left to do; cruise control actuator not functioning and charge AC with R-134 substitute, all components seem good One small rock chip in windshield; not worth replacing or affecting vision.
Passed NC inspection. All lights working including amber fogs and new back-ups.

NO Rust, solid body with beautiful brand new silver bullet paint!

New dash cover! Interior is excellent shape for age. No tears! Backseat is super springy and front seats feel pretty darn good too. No third row, just more storage. Headliner very clean and tight. Carpet is clean and tight.
There is tons of room in this wagon, especially with all seats folded flat.

Detailed Pictures available of all rust-free wheelwells and comfy seats.

Nice wagon... and for that price why not fix the cruise control AND sort out that A/C which needs "charging" as everyone in the world claim to all the time? Hmmm, and a cracked dash is an issue too. Otherwise, sounds like a good 300TD. Care to post the VIN and much more pics...
