Not really reduced. I've called them during the active E-Bay listing and the guy I've spoken to told me $6999.00
A friend of mine with access to dealer auctions told me that they sell for between $4200 to $5200 at auctions so I am sure that there is a room on the price
Now.....If only this car was dark blue or black....

Had your friend looked at the pictures? If that car was purchased at an auction, it might be one of them. I no longer have access to Manheim auction reports, but I used be a buyer for a dealer in San Diego and went to Manheim auctions weekly. I'd be interested to see if the same model with similar miles has sold recently in So. Cali.

It's reduced by $99 bucks. So technically it's true. Of course you would have to take into account the glaring defect of the worn out headlamp wipers.

Of course your favorite color would have to be similar to the car you have now. One of the reasons I like that particular car is that it is nearly identical to a Cadillac my parents bought when I was 10. The interior color is a dead ringer, but the exterior is a little lighter. Still amazingly close though. To me it looks masculine, but my mother say's it was her favorite combination ever, and that she never tired of it.

Oh brother.

Yes, I have a great memory for cars. I was a car nut at birth. I recall the way the rubber floor coverings smelled in our Ford Falcon while I was still in the womb.

My mom is the one who got excited about new cars, while my dad couldn't care less about them. So I guess that's why it's her emotions I remember. Dad cared about efficiency and longevity, so he was the first one to bring a MB home for my mom to drive. I think it was a 1975 300D. Mom thought it was a terribly noisy and smelly contraption, and couldn't understand why anybody would pay Cadillac prices for an import.

Yepper. By the time I was old enough to associate pets with the people I knew, I associated cars with people I knew. Some of my earliest memories are of vehicles owned by family members.

Sylvia, my 1989 560SEL was sold to a PO by Exucutive. They only buy and sell good cars. They will not buy or trade for a car that has to be wholesaled off. (read used up or needs a lot of maintenance).

Thanks for the tip! I looked over many of the cars in their inventory, and that was my impression. Pictures can be, misleading, though, if the seller is unscrupulous.

Update: I just reviewed their inventory, and the gorgeous old 300SE seems to be gone.

Just relax, easy...still listed on Autotrader...maybe you still have a time to buy it?

I bet it's gone. Dealers are in no rush to remove AT ads, especially if it's generating lots of traffic/phone calls.

I've seen that 420 already, looks a little sun faded. I bet that 300SE is a coastal car. Less heat, more overcast = less fading. Still, the 420SEL would be great for someone in the rust belt.

I can't afford another car right now, or I would have bought that 300SE.
