I just dont like chrome rims tho....I never have...just my opinion. I do love Michelin Energy tires...They dont last long but boy they ride good!

Interesting.

I wonder how this proves there has been no refinishing. I see the readings are the same all over the car. Is it not possible the care was totally refinished? Not that I think it was - I see no other visible indication of painting.

I like that - very nice condition. There's one same color combo in Beaumont, Texas for sale. It had 50k miles on it or so, and he wanted $12,000 for it. I tried to hammer him down, but he wasn't going. Passed on it and I think he still has it.

It is also interesting to see that the History Report shows that the car never had a loan/lien on it. When purchased it was paid for completely without a loan.

Did you know that motor was put in RHD versions of the E23 745i?

If you do not know about the E23 745i, look them up. Very interesting cars... LHD were Inline 6 with a turbocharger, intercooled too

MY OH MY! That sdl is pretty! But also being a BMW man, that M% rocks. I do not like the throwing star wheels though, those looked better on the E34 M5's. I do like it with the BBS original wheels.

It looks like a peach of a car. I like the 'absolute auction' too, if the seller doesn't shill-bid it up himself.

The chrome wheeling is a California deal - in the '80s, you weren't anybody unless you had your MB wheels chromed. A shame to me.

I'm going to inspect the pictures after they download, and report on what I see. Pictures can be extremely deceiving, btw.

yeah me lookin at the M5 was what lead me to the 300sdl...I have owned aprox 50 cars (only 3 were new) but I have never owned a BMW...Only like the older ones tho...This M5 is awesome. I still have my car and driver issue where they slammed one into an embankment on a lap of America race
