The first album shows a car with AC controls in the center, yet it is not listed as an option. Could someone explain this to me? I have a recently acquired 1984 280 CE that has AC under the hood but no blue knob like the one above the heat knobs in the photo album... I have the two heat knobs and the fan knob.

And by the way, it sounds like a hell of a deal on the two wagons...

Aftermarket installation. I think, A/C was installed, when car was imported in the USA.
This variant of the control knob for A/C was used on the cars made up to 07/1980.

very strange looking mb-tex on the back seats and front seat headrest also. PM sent looking for more details- I need a car here up here...

No mb tex in that puppy. Perpindicular seams.

I'd like to see the paper work that says AMG. The last two pics are very telling but unfortunately it looks like someone replaced the SPRINGS (hopefully just spring pads)!@#$!@#!@$!@$!@$

Looks like Winmutt has good eyes- are the changed out springs making the car sit higher? Is that leather and why so? A/C? ...who knows if the 5 speed could fit a 617?

Still interested at the right price...

thats correct no MB tex here full black leather seating, door panels, headliner to.

If anyone wants either one i will sell seperately.
