Thanks for the complements, on the car and the Ad.
I hope that people get the effort and detail I put in, and hope that the ad is easy to digest... Knowing that plenty of MB Tech-heads here will get what I have said and done with the tech stuff! I loved the car, and would have loved to keep it. The reasoning is this... The Diesel is a Daily Driver, and has plenty of dings, dents and sun fading already....Patina.... Plus the mpg... and whatever I keep has to live out on the street... We talked long and hard about what to do and everything was in the pot... The 2.6 is just too nice to use as a DD, and live outside... I just could not do it! She deserves a good home with a loving owner, and I think when things changed, I just felt it was the right choice... I will regret it, I am sure.

Noooooooo!
 That car inspired me to fix up my 190E 2.6. Mine is like your diesel, dings and daily driver status (MPG not as good  ). If I was in the market for a 190E I'd definitely consider this one!

1989 300ce 129k ( facelifted front,updated tail lights, lowered suspension,bilstein sports, lorinser front spoiler, MOMO steering wheel, remus exhaust,stainless steel brake lines). (Gone) 1997 s320 154k (what a ride). Sold with 179k miles. Replaced with Hyundai Equus 1994 e320 Cabriolet 108k  1972 280se 4.5 153k Owned for 12 yrs, sorry I sold it [/SIGPIC]

Into the last day..
Even today I got emails offering me undisclosed amounts of cash if I take it off Ebay... Really? When I ask how much cash they are bringing... I get evasive answers or silence... Oh please... this is silly! I am leaving it up, as its the right thing to do. I believe in the power of the marketplace... The car has also been inspected in person by 3 parties, and all agreed the listing was accurate and honest, and all were impressed. Made me feel good to have my description vindicated.

I used to love eBay as a tool for selling a nice Merc or old Volvo...I had some of the best luck over the years. But lately it has turned into deadbeat bidders and scams. I tried to sell my old Lexus with "no reserve" 3 times this year and all 3 winning bidders were either a no show or backed out. eBay has made it easy to do so since a seller can not leave negative feedback any longer. I trust all my sales to CL now...Sure was a beautiful auction you had for the 190..Care to disclose the reserve?

Mmmm.
Didn't hit the reserve... Have been told I screwed up by listing it to end on a Holiday weekend! Lots of after the fact questions and offers so decided the relist it. Lets try again...
