PARTING OUT '83 300D IN INDY

It's time to start parting out my grey 300D, 'GG'. The reason for this is the substantial rust that has compromised nearly every structural section. I've driven her for nearly two years and she's been a great and dependable car. I've gone on several 4 hour road trips with no major issues.

Everything must go! Please just make reasonable fair market value offers and I'm sure we can work out the prices as we go. If that becomes an issue, I'll just post $$$$ for each item. Pics will follow, but the car is still a whole car as of today.

OM617 with 190k: 380/400/400/400/400 compression test as of fall 2012, and also a valve adjustment done at that time with junkyardjim from the forum; glow plugs tested and good. Could use front main crank seal and IP shutoff valve. Motor is still in the car and I'll post videos of it running. In the last year, I replaced the water pump and alternator (used but works well); not sure if A/C compressor works; PS pump good with no leaks; vacuum pump readings on my Mighty Vac are good (don't remember what they numbers are but they are in the right range)

Rear control arms: not rusted out, from a newer car, and I put them on myself two winters ago. No e-brake cables though.

Good rear subframe with bushings installed winter 2011

Window motors/switches all work
ALL glass is very good including front/rear windshields that were replaced in ??? 2007 (I'll check paperwork).

Full stock exhaust 'made in Italy' sticker still on there.

Front spindles with new ball joints I installed myself in January.

Front driver's upper control arm also new as of January.

Discount Tire 16x8 chrome AMG knockoffs with nearly new summer tires: wheels are 10 footers, but look pretty cool!

Good set of 14" stocker Bundts

Great condition brake booster just installed; purchased from Charmalu :-)

Moonroof and cable and motor and switch all work quite well

Chrome trim all available, driver's rear door trim is beat up from a fender bender ;-(

Front and rear lenses in good shape.

Interior door handles in good shape

COMPLETE EVERYTHING INCLUDED WVO SYSTEM ALSO AVAILABLE. I can assist with the installation for $$$.

I'll keep adding as I go along and as people ask questions, but pretty much everything is up for grabs (I'm keeping some select and as of yet TBA items for my 300SD) I'd sell the car as a whole, but I think it's worth much more parted out.

Do you have the Instrument cluster (clock/speedo/oil/temp gauges)?

Thanks

Perhaps I was foolish to not add prices. Would this make the ad more helpful? I will be adding pictures of the car shortly.

How is the lettering on the combination switch? I need one that not only works, but looks very good - price and shipping to 70818?

Thanks

It's probably not in good enough shape for you. I'll check today and get pictures.
