Wanted: Heckflosse Wagon

Hi all,

I am in the market for a Fintail wagon. (Anything Pre W123 really) I am aware this is a long shot, but I thought I would give it a try.

If anyone has, or knows of anyone who has a Fintail wagon for sale please PM me. Mercedes wagons have a very special place in my heart, and my 300TD urgently awaits a roommate in the garage.

Any condition, from rust bucket to show car is solicited.

I can relate to pretty much all of your comments, and found myself thinking, now where did I just see one posted recently? Then I remembered, it was Ebay. I don't have time to find it and post a link, but I'm sure you can find it there with a search.

Yes,

I have been following that auction closely. But $41,000 dollars is out of the question for her current condition. That's W113 kinda dough.

And that robins egg blue color never struck me the right way either.

Was thinking (dreaming really) of buying a fintail sedan, converting it to a wagon, and swapping the engine for something "bigger" and more modern.

Sounds crazy, I know. But so is paying $41k for aforementioned example.
