Cleaning House -- various mercedes , diesel
Hey guys. So i'm cleaning house -- I'm to old to work two jobs and raise a family and such. Lol. Here's what i got
1984 190D NA with 5 speed swap -- starts right up every time even in cold . It's a good reliable beater. $600.00 I have another 5 spd transmission and pedal assembly and shifter from a 190D -- $250 1994 300 TE -- wagon. $600 Gasser .White. It has about 170,000 i think. I got it from a friend . It ran rough . I replaced the spark plug wires but it didn't help. Another friend said it is probably the other spark plug wiring harness. I never learned anything about these cars and haven't done anything with it for the year since i drove it home. But it will need to be towed. 1985 SD parts car -- $350 has trailer hitch . doesn't have transmission . has 4 good tires . Engine beat and body beat. ran wvo for years and it had low compression before that. but it would still start and run. 1997 E300D -- $3000 obo -- this one is my friends. new headliner, tinted windows, trailer hitch, glow plugs done, nice body. It has an issue with the immobilizer. I was driving it the other day and parked it and it wouldn't start back up. The key is funny. It could be it needs new keys or it could be the transponder ring is bad. I haven't looked into it yet. I had to tow it home. Anyway, depending on if i get that fixed or not price can go down. Make an offer. 2005 Passat TDI wagon -- $3000 obo -- needs ring job. Has new camshaft and rebuilt transmission. Thought i'd throw this one in there.  Email me or pm me for pics. Someone should really look at the Passat. I liked this thing way better than my 1987 Td. Nice heated seats. Interior awesome. Great handling. And gets better mileage. I just don't want a wagon anymore. Chrysler town and country minivan here I come. That was the best car I had. Nothing ever broke. I paid 1250 for it. I traded it for a Mercedes 1993 300d after driving it a year or so. I sold the me for 3000.00. So I did good but That van was the best utility vehicle ever.

pm sent, about the beater. I used to have a similar van, 1990 Dodge Grand Caravan. Had THE most comfortable seats i ever plopped my butt in! Gave it to my wife's son, he drove it all over, sold to someone in WA. state, and it's still running around there as far as I know. Yeah, go for it! I loved sitting that high up, the hauling capacity, wish there was a diesel version! Would one of the VW front wheel drive diesels go in there? Any other FWD diesels?
