I would really say I can see why a 5 spd turbo diesel is wanderbar ,the video was very clear and the gains of giddeyup the engine gave with a stick shifting at points.Great thread.

For sure, makes you wonder why he bothered with all the work, when the body was clearly rusted out. Also makes you wonder what other ferrous oxide surprises this car holds for its next owner. Too bad, the engine looks very clean and sounds great, and the interior is excellent as well. Aside from the fast'n'furious shop-vac air cleaner, I wouldn't change a thing.

The winning bid was 4k? The 4 speed swap was worth 1k and the engine and trans about a grand. I'd say that car was worth $2500 total

woops. I even read the title amd still typed 4 speed.

The 5th gear overdrive is what the engine really needs. Too bad most of the manual only have 4rd gears.
