FS: 1952 W186 Adenauer Rolling Chassis

This unfinished chassis project was by undertaken by a native German, renowned Mercedes restorer who served a term as president of the St. Louis chapter of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, and spent over 40 years building, restoring, exhibiting and racing vintage Mercedes-Benz automobiles.

His longtime passion was to recreate the famous 1954/1955 Mercedes Renntransporter and a companion piggyback racing car to participate in vintage races around the US. Unfortunately, he passed away before he was able see his vision become a reality.

The stout chassis is a 1952 300 Adenauer (186011-01101114-52) in very good condition and largely intact, except for the body mounts, which were removed during the project. Send us a PM with your email address and we would be happy to provide multiple high resolution photos.
