1983 240D and OM606
Well it is finally time to part with my old friend a 1983 240D. The old girl has taken me all over the country and never let me down. She has been sitting for a number of years now and I just don't have time to work on her anymore. I kept telling myself I would get around to it but after a 5 years I realize it needs to go to a home with someone who will spend the time to get it back on the road.
The car has a bunch of modification that I did over the year, STT turbo, cosworth intercooler, w115 intake, electric speedo, 5 speed from a 535i, copper radiator, early style euro headlights with vacuum adjustment and headlight wipers... She runs great but will need a very good going over before driving and a new driver side floor. I have the floor pan but do not have time to put it in. I also have a bunch of spare, a nice dash, carpers, original 4 speed transmission and random bits. I also have a 1998 e300 that I intended to take the engine (om606) and transmission from and put into the 240D. I have the correct engine mount arms to use for the conversion but again not enough time or cash. I had the car painted with two new front fenders 7 years ago with the original color. I need the cars gone asap, asking 1500 obo for the two cars. The driving lights do not come with the car. https://photos.app.goo.gl/uzuPgzHGcCR4uSZA8
