For the far guys-just hire a carrier to move the car. It's not expensive if you're flexible with pickup/delivery dates. Lots of half full trucks looking for a few bucks.

I sent a 617 down the coast on a pallet for around $250. That was the retail cost, it would have been cheaper if I wasn't on a schedule.

So the car has been sitting a lot and I think the center carrier bearing is going bad....it drives fine but the bearing is noisy now. $500 OBO, just want the powertrain to live on, strong running OM601 + trans in this car - I'd recommend trailering it just to prevent any issues, it'd probably drive where-ever fine but the bearing noise is obnoxious.
