if you took a couple hours and kinda put everything back together real quick and gave it a quick wash people would be much more inclined to inquire about the car

Yes, thanks for the suggestion, agree, engine could use some Sam's club degreaser & a pressure wash too.
I need to bring it up to speed but then I'll want to keep it !

I have owned this car TWICE now. I did the repair (fender, right front corner) myself in my driveway and have all the pics to prove it. The transmission was rebuilt at Sun Valley (while I owned it). If anyone has questions about the car feel free to ask. I miss it sometimes.

Yes ! This is/was your car ScooterABC !
You maintained it so well for the time that you owned it !
(3~4 years?).
As I am around the car more along with viewing your maitainence & repair receipts am very seriously considering keeping it !

Info that might be useful to prospective buyers:

1. I think the center wood area was re-done by Madera Concepts (pretty sure I had that done)
2. AC was working great on R134a, but then I think something got messed up in the accident so not sure these days.
3. Sun Valley rebuilt the transmission YAY
4. SLS system was maintained and intact !!!!
5. Trap Oxidizer and EGR thing DELETED!!!
6. It's the California version of the 85 300TD which means the air cleaner is different. Some people care about that. I think it also has a slightly better rear end ratio.
7. I really liked this car and miss it. It will always be a "driver" and never a "show car" unless someone re-does the body work I did on the right front corner. At the time I wasn't interesting in spending the money to do that so I had my DIY fix for it.

Was the vehicle in an accident? How was it repaired?

Is the original engine with wagon type cylinder head installed?

I might be interested.

See post #8 above. If you want details, contact me. Remember, I'm a former owner and someone else is selling the car now.
