I have fitted Sportline springs to my TE but the car is still fitted with the standard hydro shocks the rear ride height is about 1" too high. I have tried lengthening the sensor rod but the SLS doesnt appear to lower any more, are the Sportline hydros shorter or set for a lower ride height?. I appretiate that the normal damping may be stiffer etc and its working range may be different but I was hoping that I may be able to lower the car with the standard units. Regards Linds

You can start off by replacing your spring bump pads. Have you tried that?

lengthen rod to maximum length, gave me about 1/2" put loads of weight in the boot, i used my mate. approx 12 stone. get under the car, wheels on the floor, rear sls shocks under load. crack the bleed nipple on top of the sls valve and relases a LITTLE fluid-careful it comes flying out. engine must be running. I managed to drop the rear another 3/4" this way with no negative effects. hope this helps. steve

Thanks I will try releasing the pressure, I know my Evo front suspension doesnt respond to just adjusting the rod seeming to be determined to stay at the same ride height.

The sensor arm is connected to the sway bar by a adjustable link rod with a small ball joint on either end, the ball joint on one end is LH thread and on the other end RH thread which allows lengthening or shortening without removing the link rod. > > Linds
