1985 euro 2.516v How to use on/off ratio tester

My pin #3 is blank on the diagnostic plug of this euro car. Any advice on how to hook up to the car with a on/off ratio tester ?

The W201 has an X11 socket, mounted on the fender wheel arch on the intake side. It's not an OBD type scan port, it's much more primative, providing voltage values instead of codes.

Isn't that used to check the ignition components?

The X11 and a duty cycle multimeter will provide information on the fuel/ignition system. As stated before, the W201 does not have ODB style diagnostics. Later W201 models, in the 90's, had a blinking LED relay that gave some diagnostic info.
