1985 500 sec

I am new to the board,first off this is a great board from what ive seen. I have a 500sec and would like to find out something as far as history of the sec i cant seem to get that much info on this car. I will be restoring this car soon but right now i am in the process of doing a 1979 924 porshe. AS with the benz these cars take alot of personal care. So if anyone can help with any thing about my benz it would be great. I have heard alot of the older cars had bad interiors because of the salt water when these cars were shipped overseas,well that rings true with mine i will be looking for a interior soon hopefully from a donor car as i was quoted 5000.00 to redo mine,this doesnt sound realistic. Well gotta go for now drop me a line,buy the way i am also looking for a drivers rear taillight. Thanks melroseparkrags
