I really need to film it in an underground carpark or get a proper camera. With my phonecam, all I get is wind-howl on the mic.

my thoughts exactly

you have a twin turbo

how much more fun is it than a nlormal 3.0 coupe?

as ive not driven mine in anger yet as its been poorly since i got it in march 07

G.F.P.

Night and day difference.....!!!!

I bought my coupe new in may of 1988.
Great performer but probably mid to high seven second 0-60 acceleration with much stronger top end.

With the TT low to mid five second 0-60 acceleration and able to chirp the tires on the one - two shift.

Incredible torque, great low end, and top end feels like it has no limit.

3.0 liter I6 that now thinks it's a hot 6.0 liter V8 !!!

Do you have problems with your TT?

Sounds great, looks great....how does it feel ?

I was surprised that my install has no turbo lag, boost kicks in low without notice and no noise from the turbos even at full throttle...

Ortolan, wow that was a superb description of how the car feels in 3 stage comparisions, now i know what to expect and am looking foward to it

RBYCC, the TT is my 3rd w124 3.2 24v coupe and yes ive had a few issues

i bought the car at a bargain price in late march 07 and its been on my drive most of the time

TT had it from july 07 to sept 07 and that cost me just under £1,000 and they said there was 1 more bit to sort and it would be fine but as they are not merc technicians i might be better off getting a merc specalist to connect it to a computer (as their computer only had a very limited ammount of data it could read off my car) and then the merc people can fully diagnose it

whats its doing is when you start it up it used to judder and stall but now it idles fine

then if you leave it running for 10 mins then drive off if you floor it the car wont move and then it will slowly pick up revs and hit 60mph after say 45 seconds

that has been partially sorted but ive been told it needs a new cam sensor or was it the knock sensor, either way its due to be sorted in mid feb as both front electric windows had the mechanism go and thus stop the windows working up n down so ive bought 2 new ones (£110 each) and my windscreen fitter mate started it last weekend but again the parts from merc were not simple to fit and needed riviting so they will hopefully be done next weekend

as for the rest of the car its in very very good condition for its age (M 1995)

when i spoke to the bloke at TT he said there is a good chance that my one was one of the very last coupes they did as he thinks the last one was silver and mine is a late M redg but he could not be 100%

anyway its done just over 100,000 and had 2 owners and is really nice

but now ive got an itch and want a 3rd coupe on my drive as im looking at the w124 e320 convertible but do i really need 3 cars!

i might have to sell my dark grey M '95 w124 with full amg kit n wheels & cream interior and then get the convertible

Hello, I have long observed your engines conversion,

Beautiful conversion and a perfect operation,:D

I come from Germany and I had myself a C124 AMG 3.6-24v and I have a Mosselmann Bi-Turbo Kit

This is my car
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/off-topic-discussion/211319-hello-i-am-kraftcheck-germany.html

I have a few questions to them:

How high is their engine compression? Original 10,5:1 and how they have changed the compression?
How high is your Pressure?

My Mosselmann turbos:

The G.F.P 01-20-2008 06:39 PM

ive just uploaded to my youtube account me racing a scooby in summer 2004, not that impressive but with my HKS style cone air filter my car sounded superb, that car was a 1996 e320 sportline coupe but i wrote it off when attacked by a rogue lamp post in spet 05, ive kept the filter and put it on GFP 2 ('94 w124 e320 coupe)

Thanks! I had previously seen your video on youtube. You have a very nice car!
I'm looking forward to doing some performance runs once my engine has done another 1500km.

What was your 1/4 mile elapsed time and MPH when you ran the RUF 911?

Thanks

Here's another vid from inside the car:
300CE Cruise

The engine noise still doesn't carry through but at least there's no wind noise in this one.

Yes, but I can't hear it from inside the car. The induction noise is very audible though - it sucks the air like a Jap import (keep in mind that mine is running at 14psi, twice the normal boost).

Not much engine noise, but it sounds like you have a body bumping around in the boot/trunk !:)

Ortolan 01-23-2008 06:36 AM

I do have some junk floating around in the boot but I think most of the bumps are coming from the front suspension. This is going to be fixed soon.

I think I'll tape the camera to the front bumper and make a Rendezvous style movie... :D
