I can take some pics of my breather system once I get my car back. Were the videos on youtube of no help?

My kit has:

1. Long thick hose
2. Short thick hose
3. MIO filter
4. 1-way valve
5. Aluminum hose-size reducer male/male
6. Long thin hose
7. 3-way spliter that fits thick hoses
8. a tap on the intake casting (between the turboes and the intake filter) that fits thick hoses
9. bunch of clamps

It's been a almost a year and no one can help me with the M104 breather TT install.
This is my M103.
Components all the same, but probably different locations on the M104.

Long thick hose to the air cleaner assembly.
The rest of the components and connections you can see.

I would appriciate it if you could, or at least a few discriptive words.

The youtube videos you did are awsome, and would've been so much help when I 1st started, but for the breather system can't see anything behind the intake manifold.

Ed, you were kind enough to post these pics on my thread in Benzworld, so thank you, but by looking at the pics i am puzzled. Your long hose is way longer because the air box is on the other side of the engine. And most importantly when I inter connect my peices in different combinations, i get one extra line, i don't know what to do with.

So my intake manifold has 2 hoses 1 thick and 1 thin. I assume one is in while the other one is out. Do you know which is which? and Is iether one of them one way?

We know that a vacuum diagram is not supplied, so honestly it was just connecting the openings to the supplied parts in a logical manner.

If you really look at what it does then you can see it's basically a closed loop PCV type system.

Forget about your hose lengths, just see if your parts are similar to what I show.
The thick hoses are on two sides of the red valve, the thin on the other side.

Locate all your openings and make a sketch.
Then look at your parts and lay them out.
As long as all openings are connected then you have achieved the end result.

Performance really isn't effected, more keeping in line with getting the pressure out of the crankcase.

Couldn't get the T2 turbos to push enough air through. Thoroughly pissed off because I've gone through all this and still haven't been able to drive the car to its full potential.
I'm now moving to Toronto & Boston for 6 months and having to leave the car as a work in progress.
For the money I've spent so far, I could buy a used SL65 in the US.

My cousin should have the kit on my car shortly. Depending on when you're in Toronto, I'll give you a ride in it so you have something to look forward to in Australia.
Kidding aside, there are a few MB club meets starting shortly. You should come to them.
If you're interested PM me and I'll give you some details.

100% agree and understand. However I have a strong feeling they sent me the breathing system components for the M103 kit. All my breathing components look identical to yours. But correct me if I am wrong, don't I already have a PCV similar system that is the two holes on top of the valve cover that connect directly into the over the engine tube of the intake? That is independent of the pressured portion. I do however have two hoses on the intake manifold where 1 end goes somewhere to the throttle body, and the other towards steering pump or air conditioning pump. And the length of the hoses doesn't seem to make sense judging by the distance to the possible connecting points.

Very puzzled, and can't find any diagrams of my intake manifold.

WOW! Awesome pics...Thank you.

The breathing system I am trying to find is not visible on these pics. I drew on top of yours with red to show where those 2 hoses are. They are right below the intake manifold, next to the oil dip stick almost in the middle of left most 3 cylinders. If you could, please take a look to see if anything else is connected there.

Also on the black casting that has the TT logo, oval shapped, on the bottom side there should be a aluminum tap/valve about 10-15mm diameter. Is there anything connected to it? If yes, can you trace it?

It appears that your tubing goes direct to the air intake plenum.

Where do your turbos draw intake air from?

Looks reversed from the M103 which intakes air from the front of the turbo and boosts from the rear to the IC then to the intake plenum.

Air is drawn in from the snorkel on the intake side of engine, through the airbox/filter assembly, up over the engine and into the compressors. This is then pushed through the intercooler (which sits below the turbos) and routed down in front of the engine and back up into the intake plenum.

This video shows it most clearly

It does seem like a strange setup.

The TT pipe has a bolt inserted into the tap below it. Here's some more pics:
