Carbon Fiber engine Cover, 3.2L !

Hello guys,
meaby some of you knows me, we (me and a partner) are making performance and quality carbon fiber parts for Mercedes application. We are actually doing parts with 1st grade material (nomex, quality epoxy, 2x2 quality Carbon fiber, etc) and using technology like vacuum baging, Infrared curing station, etc.

If I am posting here, it is to see the potential interest of you guys on a 3.2L engine cover in Carbon Fiber.

It is preatty obvious that a CF part like this one would bring at a higher level the esthetic appearence of the engine bay of our sweet Benz!

So I am talking about this cover:

The mold will be compleated by next saturday and the first CF engine cover will be leaving are shop in about 2 weeks.

I am posting to see if there is interest here in this part?
Basically it is a replica of the CLK320 engine valve cover, so I guess it would fit any other 3.2L engine (E320, C320, CLK320).

Here is some other project that we are actually doing (especially for the 190E):
Fuel door:

Rear Window Spoiler:

Interior Trims:

Motocycle engine cover:

190e CF Hood with Nomex core (progress IN-WORK):

If you are interested in this engine cover I would be happy to know! I would also like to know what would be the price that you are expecting for it (I am waiting after the protype to estimate the real price for now).
Thank you!

Hello,
we can make alot of parts in CF.

We are actually doing a sort of group buy on the 190revolution.net forum for a W201 (190E) carbon fiber hood.
There is more pics there. We are finishing a prototype this week and starting the production next saturday.
Those are quality CF hood with Nomex core and are costing between 640-725$US depending on the option. The price is preatty low since it is the first series of hood that we are making, but the quality will still be there!

Any question:

Thank you!

I would like to see door side pockets for the 560SL as well as replacement plastic parts for the under the vinal trim and padding that is on top of the folding top cover.

If I had the money, I'd love to do a complete CF DTM rebody of my coupe.
I wonder how much weight that would save?
