Rev. Limiter??? Crazy! Help?
 

Ever since I have had my Omni ignition booster i have experianced a wierd problem. whenever i my revs hit 6K in first gear with the gas to the floor the car has an automatic studder box???? it revs and repeats at intervals of about a quarter of a second. just like a rev limiter studder box on a dragster. it will not shift into second and is a really annoying problem not good for the trans i bet. what is this??? is this the fuel pump relay kicking in at such a fast pace or is it my new ignition system?? silly but it sounds like this>>>>> REV. REV. REV... REV... REV..... SECOND GEAR. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated! Tomarrow i will test my 300E without the omni pak and just the primary coil maybe this will help.

Other than using a fuel pump relay from a V-8 car there isn't much that can be done. Had to do that on my 280E autocross car!
