I'm looking to do a rear mount turbo on a 1996 E320. I have hunted this and other forums in search of the correct turbo for the application, I found only vauge info. I think this unit on Ebay might be what I want or close. It is item number 260721055204, a GT30,with the following specs;
Turbine Housing AR: A/R.63
Comp. Housing AR: A/R.70
Turbine Wheel: *56-65.25mm
Comp. Wheel: *61.4-82mm
flange:T3 Flange
Bearing Housing: TB34
oil and water cooled: oil cooled
Thrust Bearing:３６０
Wastegate: interwasgate
I already know that a ball bearing unit would spool up a little faster. but would cost more than double. I have heard of another member going with a larger exhaust housing, I think that will bring in the boost a little too late.
PLEASE if anyone has some knowledge or experience in this please post.
