will elevation impact a compression test?
Compression test on 92 500e was 123-127. Car is in Salt Lake City, at 5300 feet. How much of a factor is elevation?

Yes, the air is less dense at that altitude, and therefore there will be less air going into the engine and therefore lower numbers.
Standard pressure at that altitude should be about 830 millibars on a standard day. At sea level, a standard day is 1013 millibars. Therefore, the numbers at that altitude should be 18% lower than the sea level specs due to the fact that the pressure is 18% lower than the pressure at sea level.
