The 24th annual newport beach fahsion island car show.
Mercedes Benz Car Club of North America. Alot of hot cars this weekend. show Starts at 10 Sat morning and Sun @ 12.
Alot of Great Gullwings turn out for this event.

all Mercedes only. No other Cars.

Anyone intereste email me or posr reply maybe we can all meet.

I'll definitely be there. I'm planning on arriving around 10AM.

I know they are meeting near the Nieman Marcus, let me know where you'll be and I'll find you there. I've never been to Fashion Island but I'm sure it won't be too hard to find a bunch of beautiful shiny Mercedes.

I'm hoping others will join in as well. Would be nice to see other Mercedeshop people and their cars.

Guido, I'd go, but unfortunately, My Mercedes and My Dads mercedes are both outta commision.

The SL600 lost reverse and clutch packs were also worn. Tranny is getting rebuilt.

And as you can see my car aint going nowhere. Its at my mechanic and will be worked on when the parts arrive.

My older brothers 380SL needs brakes, so thats also out.

The Rolls is in the shop for brakes, and its not a mercedes anyway...

And My younger brothers Range Rover is overheating.

As you can see, we are all basically car less right now.

Ouch.

Sorry I should have clarified that comment.

I actually took a look at the Benzsport website to find out details regarding this meeting.

Their I determined that at least 30 Benzsport Members will be meeting at Nieman Marcus around 10am and having lunch later on. They also posted a map for anyone who isn't familiar with the mall or the area. It's actually quite easy to get there. Anyone coming up 5 North will get onto the 405 North and exit on Jamboree Road. The mall will be on your left.

I'll probably be there around 10:30am.

I've decided to go and am taking the wife.

I'll park near Neiman Marcus, and be looking for the 500E's.

I'm driving a 93 smoke silver 300E / E320.

Greetings! There were tons of beautiful MB's at Fashion Island today. Lots of Gullwings and many other perfect autos. Heres a photo of Placo, ItalianBenx and my 500E. Try to get there on Sunday. Event is free and access/parking is a breeze.

Thanks for posting that Doug!

Had a great time seeing some different Benzes and get some fresh ideas.

For those that didn't have a chance to make it to the show I would highly recommend it if your into older pristine cars. Not to mention that it's at the mall so you should be able to entertain the whole family! I believe the show starts around 10AM on Sunday.

...those pics look familair...I have been there as well. There were some great looking cars and 1 extreem sharp looking 300SL gullwing parked next to another fine looking guulwing and some gullwings that were (restored) in a less mint way.
