om648 power? dyno?

who here has had their om648 on a dyno? results?

Yea I'm surprised more people don't mod the OM648 more and document the process and results. It is probably since the OM606 is easier to mod since barely any electronics if any are even involved, but I wonder which one has stronger internals.

mine has 350 hp at the wheels according to my last dyno.

it's not possible to get over 300 hp at the engine with only software

Just tuning can yield some power gains but mechanical improvements start at
Bigger intercooler, bigger turbo, cat delete… etc

Black Smoke Racing's secondary youtube channel called Turbo Diesel Builds has a few videos where they mod some OM648 cars and then run them on the dyno throughout the process. Watching those guys shoudl answer all your questions about mods and what's possible out of the OM648.
