Talking What KE-Jetronic gen does the M104.981 have

There's a 300SL in a yard by me and I was thinking, that air meter plate looks more flow friendly than the stock one I have on Benzer 5's M103. It's the M104.981 so not the LH or HFM version, I'm thinking if I can get the fuel distributor + air metering plate as a whole unit for cheap might as well swap it on. I already swapped a M104.980's air box onto my M103 sooooo why not? Just need to know if it'll swap on or not and how interchangeable and compatible it is with everything on the M103.

AFAIK, one of the only real differences is that the 104.981 should have a 70mm throttle body. I think everything else will direct swap, that said I haven't done it. I say do it and let us know how it goes.

Okay I'm probably going over there today to go check it out, should I try to swap that throttle body on too? Also does it use the same distributor unit? I just rebuilt mine a few months ago so I would like to use it instead of the junkyard distributor , I'm more after the airflow plate unit.
