Need Part Number for Euro 16V Fuel Pump Relay
Hey everyone,
I read on some old threads that if the Euro fuel pump relay is used from a Euro 16V in the US 16V, it will give our car the Euro rev limit of 7000rpm. Does anyone know the part number or where I can find one? Also, will there be any difference in performance or will the only change be the new rev limit. Do the valve springs need to be changed then? If so, is Bekkers 8000rpm valve springs the only solution? Edit: I also forgot to ask if a fuel pump relay from a 300E could be used in this application? Thanks for your help, Giancarlo

Thanks Bernie.
Have you done this mod on your 16V? If so, did u you notice any power gains or just the rev limit moving to 7000rpm? Thanks, Giancarlo

I thought about it but there was a thread posted sometime early this year, I don't remember when, that said it wouldn't make a difference in hp. It just set the rev limiter from 6,800 to 7,000 rpm.
So, I never did push through with it.
