I'm glad to have found this enthusiast MB site. I used to have a 87' 230CE and moved onto a Volvo 850R.

I'm looking at an immaculate 90' 300CE Auto with the M103 engine. After piloting my modded 850R for 2 years, the 300CE does seem kinda sluggish, hence I was wondering if its possible to either fit in a 3.2L M104 engine or the C36 AMG engine... Some questions... 1. Can I use my existing tranny? 2. Wiring Harness and ECU is required?

Also, I would like to upgrade the brakes, probably from the 400E or 500E. Is this possible?? I'll be running 18" Brabus rims from my previous 230CE.
