W211 (new E-Class) E55 AMG

http://mbspy.bacosys.be/w211e55amg.htm If these specs are true, then this appears to be one of the best new MB's available. Although I am not fully "sold" with the rear body styling which reminds me of a Nissan crossed with a Buick Sentry. As for the front of the car... beautiful. -- Roger

I've been seeing new E's around town now and I think they're very good looking. The rear looks like the rest of the MB lineup but I guess thats their new marketing strategy. I think they are a vast improvement over the previous generation.
I think I'm starting to lust after the E55 - maybe put it on the list a few years out (or more) when there are some used ones out there!! Randy '94 E500 '00 S500
