Okay, we've got:
Vince
Shanta
Ross
Guido (if you want to buy your own switches, I'll back their cost out but you'll likely only save $5-10 )
One left-going fast!

Delivery will be in 10 days or so-sourcing the right relay's been a challenge

Send me an email offline and I'll send you my address info. We're all family here, so cash up front will be fine

This is where I installed it, since the fader was unused in my Alpine/PPI/MBQuart system:

Michael, thanks for the photo - that looks SLICK! I love it! I thought the fader opening was shaped wrong for a standard switch, did that just bolt up with no trimming of the wood? VERY nice setup!

I thought that slot was narrower too-very deceptive. But it snapped right in.

And FWIW, if no power is sent to this switch or relay, the ASR circuit is undisturbed. This can be reversed if you prefer, but I felt the logical default would be to retain ASR.

When the switch is activated, the ASR light comes on in the lower dash, and the snow chain light illuminates.

You may wish to consider a *BLANK* rocker-panel switch that doesn't say "ASR Off," unless you are
on a first-name basis with every single valet in your "theater(s) of operation."

Marc/all,

To make this an even more discrete modification, instead of using a mercedes rocker switch you can simply use a small, plain rocker switch and mount it wherever you like. My original thought was to install a small switch next to, and inboard of, the headlight switch.

Marc, if this is what you want, let me know since I do have 1 such switch.

If you have one left, I'm in

Sheesh, go away for a few days and see what happens...

Michael, if you have enough components and it's not too late, I'd like to go for the switch.

Rgds,
Chris W.

If it's not too late....

Micheal,
I'd like one too.
I've been offline for a while. Just saw this thread. Let me know and I will send you a check. Now is the perfect time as the interior is gutted in preperation for the stereo redo.

I am on my way to VA on business this morning but wanted to express my interest.

The 500E is spending the week at the salon while I am gone...getting new paint on lowers...

Thanks,
