Wine Watches & Women

Hey Dean Oh GR8 watchmeister! Attached photo is a pic of the face of my Omega - not the actual one mind you as I could not find the face on the Omega Site and did not think the watch was that old.

Also have a Concord Automatic Onyx Face, Rose Gold case and alligator strap with matching Rose Gold Clasp(looking for a Rose Gold bracelet to replace strap - will trade E500 if you have one.

My everyday watch isif anybody laughs, I'll come by your house and staple your upper to your lower lip)

Have around 13, but the ones I love are:
Breitling Aerospace 2-tone (Ti+Au)
Montblanc - very bold face, and strikingly done in white face with blue numerals, and gold dial skirting the edges. Beautiful thing.

problem or not... :)

I think I'm in the same boat as all of you; although, I only have one MBZ.

My favs in order:

Citizen Navihawk (I like because of the flight computer (slide rule))
Two-Tone Day Date Omega Seamaster Auto w/ white dial (pre-James Bond Series) (would sell for the right price)
Two-Tone Datejust w/ blue dial (light blue to dark from center)
Omega Constellation (early '60s) in 18K w/ Alligator strap

( Sold )
Steel Cartier Tank Francaise Auto w/ guilloche dial
Two-Tone Datejust Thunderbird w/ blue dial
Steel Date w/ black dial

Don't YOU like shoes too?

cheers,

Mephistos for walking, watch optional, when tooling in the E500 is not feasible,

Ferragamos, Jeans, a Flight shirt and Fendi Chrono at the club with the E500 parked on the edge of the 19th hole. I dont play golf

Bruno Magli-Carsons, Brooks Brothers SS&T, Concord Rose Gold Chrono with Onyx face where I am relegated to the rear seats of the E500 escorting a client to dinner(rare time when wife drives and boy does she get pissed when I ask her to wear a chauffer's uniform to really impress the client.

Notice the only common denominator amongst all three scenerios.

Should we try underwear next or just retire this string before it gets older and bolder than the cars themselves?

Tom

Hi All
I started this tread a few months ago. See what kind of watch do you wear? Here are my watches
1-sport watch. Rolex S.S. Submariner CA> 1958 same model sean Connery wore in a couple of the Bond movies.
2-Casual dress- Franck Muller-18k rose gold casablanca chronograph.
3-Dress watch- Vacheron-18k rose gold with concealed diamond dial.

I won the Rolex and the Muller in a high stakes poker game some years ago. Great time pieces.
My three watches on a monetary value are probably worth more then my 85-380SL and my 94E320 Sedan.
Happy driving.

Candinos are good watches, have been

selected as military issue in many countries over the year. Enjoy your timepiece.

Casio, Breitling, etc

Car - '93 400E with some subtle mods.

Watches - Longines dress watch. (This one was actually pretty expensive.)
Casio - Omega copy - $30.
Breitling - Japanese replica - $120.

There is such a huge difference between auto quality and watch quality, it isn't funny. I bought a $3500 Breitling replica that is indistiguishable from the original by anyone but a dealer for $120 (Including freight!) and it keeps perfect time, as does my Casio. A cheap watch will keep perfect time and last forever unless abused, whereas a cheap car will be junk in a few years. (How many 10 year old Kia's do you see on the road?!) As much as I'd love to be able to drop thousands on watches, I can't and so replicas will have to suffice. Of course, the cheap watch is always worth virtually nothing, whereas a good watch will retain or increase it's value. Cars - they almost always depreciate!

I saw one of those at Sam's club, my friend that worked there said they had my watch there for 30 bucks. Then he was just messing with me, but sam's club had the seamaster automatic for 1200 dollars which was a great deal if I wanted another one. This was about 6 months ago.

All nice watches but none of them keep better time or looks more expensive than my $45.00 Armitron.
