Importing a Audi RS2 into the US- any BTDT's?

I have had a wild hair arrive and was seriously looking into importing an Audi RS2 into the states. I know that this is not the place to talk Audi stuff, but it is indeed a "hot rod" and rare as hen's teeth, I was curious if anyone else out there has done this, and was curious as to the roadblocks one encounters in the process. Thanks folks!
