I fixed the links in all my posts... and attached the Wiecher's bar photos below.

On a side note, I had the SpeedyBenz camber links on my 500, and I wasn't happy with the performance... I replaced them with the K-Mac kit, and so far, I really like the K-Mac. I think it's a better overall solution, well worth the $200.

I got it from Daryl at Shox.com. Photos of the kit, installation notes, etc are at this thread:

There's also a recent thread on 124 suspension & brake upgrade here, including more K-Mac pics:

ksing44,
Thanks for your comments...

Form what I have heard, poly bushings outlast rubber by far , I should not have to consern with replacing them in the life of the car. But, I will take dimensions on the new bushings just in case.

I have finally decided to go with 2 -bump pads in the front and three bump pads in the rear. I feel this is a safe number and I can drive safely with this configuration.
Thanks,
Adam

New Toys!!!!

Here are the camber links I just recieved from Mercedes Racing Products.

To start off, they are very well constructed. The rod ends are of the highest quality, no play at all. The rod ends are also reverse threaded so that adjustments can be made by turning the radius rod while installed in the vehicle. On the other side, The bushing ends are of same quality incoroprating Delron as a dampening material. The outer casing of the bushing ends are made of polished stainless steel for strength and protection from the elements. A nickel was placed in the center of the photo to show the size in relation to the links.

Here are the rear shock mounts I also recieved from Mercedes Racing Products.

They are well constructed too! Being made from two different densities of poly, top and bottom. They are well suited for my application.

Nice camber links

That is good to hear about the long life of the poly bushings, because my K-MAC adjustable bushings are poly and I don’t know if I will be able to get replacements many years from now. When you say "life of the car" with these W124s, it could be a very, very, very long time.

Those camber links look really nice and that seems to be a better way to adjust the rear camber than using the K-MAC bushings. How difficult is it to add those adjustable camber links? Are they simple plug and play parts? Is it a simple replacement of an OEM link that is not adjustable?

I think the 1-bump difference is certainly a good starting point. If those springs are the Eiback ProKit springs, they may not drop the car as much as some other more aggressive springs. My car only dropped about an inch, except for the back as I explained before. Honestly, I think 1-bump front and 2-bump rear might be perfect with those springs, if they are the ProKit. Then again, with all the work you are planning, I’m sure it will not be a problem for you to readjust your spring pads if you aren’t happy after the first try. I know every car is different, but I will post a picture of my car and you will see it isn’t "too low" with the Eibach ProKit springs.

KNanthrup,
You and me both! Ill have it all installed in about a week. I would like to post some video footage of the car when I am done. If someone can give me som tips on doing so, that would be great!

ksing44,
Thanks for the input. I ordered the spring pads today. I purchased the 2-bump rears and have a set of 1-bump's for the front. I will give that a try. After seeing the post of your slightly heavier car with that setup I am convinced your configuration would fit my application.

gsxr,
The company is actually "Mercedes Racing Performance" Sorry about that. However the company also goes by the name of Davinci Motorsports, here is the website: http://www.mrp-engineering.com/pages/4/index.htm The seller, which I don't have his name, gave me special Mercedesshop member pricing. I am not at liberty to quote prices, however, just mention my name and I'm sure he will be glad to give you as great of a deal as I recieved. (acceptionally under the normal price for these items....) Here is his email. mrp_products@yahoo.com
Thanks Guys!
Adam

Although the overall quality of the strut brace is good, there is a problem. It was built with too much play between the strut tower mounts and the brace itself.
Here is a picture of the bolts that are supposed to mount the strut brace.

There is no point to a strut brace that does not brace, bolster the two sides that you are trying to make more rigid.

Omegabenz,
Yes, thats why I did this.
Obviously the strut brace without a sturdy mount is basically useless except for looks. Here is my solve,,,, I just happened to stumble across some nylon bushings I had in the basement... They fit the inside and outside diameter like they were made for the brace! I also purchased a set of stainless bolts, washers and lock nuts to replace the old hardware.
