Would 500E springs/shocks work well on a 95 E320 Wagon?

Would 500E springs/shocks work well on a 95 E320 Wagon?

I heard the rear springs on W124 wagons are "weaker" or softer because the SLS helps to suspend the rear of the car.

Should 500E sway bars front/rear go along with the swap?

Also, how much do 500E springs/shocks lower a W124?

Thanks!

West. The Coil sdprings will work on your wagon application also the shocks. I havbe to look it maybe the same part no#

I actually have my shocks out of my 500E there about a yr old. And my H&R rear coil springs.

I would think the shcoks are the same part no#

Are you interested wanna purchase them.

All four springs and the FRONT struts will work, however, the rear hydrostruts are different and will NOT bolt-in. Click here for pictures.

Where do I get rear struts for a 95 Wagon to lower it with 500E springs/shocks? Who makes them?

Thanks!

Glen, I see you have a wagon too!

Just put in 500E rear springs and "2-nib" spring pads in the rear, and it will be lower.

Don't forget to do 500E front springs & front struts with 1 or 2 nibs spring pads in the front as well.

:-) neil

Guido- I might be interested in those rear-shocks. Please email me at: ke6dcj@sbarc.org

Yes! I have a wagon too...as Neil mentioned, install the 500E springs all around with 500E struts up front. You can adjust the rear SLS to fine tune the ride height.

Awesome! Glen, that wagon looks awesome! Just about everyone of my high school friend's thinks wagons aren't cool. I'm convinced that wagons need better marketing/advertising in the USA. 2004 will be the reuturn of the wagon with the Dodge Magnum with an optional 5.7l 345 hp HEMI V-8 for around $33,000, MB E Class Wagon, BMW 5 Series Wagon, Audi S4 Avant, and what not. Hopefully a C55 AMG will be coming soon in wagon form too. Thanks for your help!

p.s. my dad and I are going to an independent MB repair shop tomorrow (monday the 26th) to see what the place is like and ask some questions.

Wagons rule!

I have the same coil & strut setup as Glen. However, I added a 500E rear sway-bar, and a W124 "Limo" bar up front.
