Cabin Air Filter
I just bought a 97 Sl 320 and would like to replace the cabin air filter. I'm not sure where it is and how to proceed. Your advise would be most appreciated. Thanks.......

Hello and Congratulations on your SL320. I have a 96 SL320. The cabin filter is located right under the hood between the mono-wiper and the firewall behind the engine. You will see a black cover with two big phillips screws in it. Take the screws out and then there are 3 little clips in the front, pop those off with a flathead and the filter is right underneath! Keep the filter clean and it will prolong the life of your blower motor. Happy Benzing!

Cabin air filter
Interesting. Can you also clean the filter or do you need to install a new one ?

I clean mine with compressed air, but I replace it about every 30k. The dust filters are cheap, but if you get a pollen filter it is kind of expensive. Good luck!
