450SL saves a life
On the local news tonight:
Mom and daughter get in car, mom goes back into the house to get a hat. Girl says she accidently kicked the gearshift from Park into Drive (seems to me she'd have to PULL it, not kick it). Car rolls into ravine, falls 20-30 feet, and lands upside down. Girl has minor scratches. Hardtop of SL is crumpled, but the windshield didn't fold. I figure the mom will sue Mercedes for a "faulty gear lever" when she should be grateful that the windshield was built like a rollbar!
