Saw a 1989 Triple black 560SL that Im interested in. Want to know a rough estimate on the current value of this model. I saw it in person already. It is abolutely FLAWLESS with only 29k miles! All original NO damage at all. It is really brand NEW. NO accidents no paint work done. Drives perfect. Never used in rain or snow and the undercarriage show it. What is this babe really worth?? Whats the highest that it can go for? I will base my offer on that. Thanks

worth?
You might want to check the "for sale" gallery at www.oursl.com.
I find Shop Forum to be the best for tech help, but OurSL has a really nice photo gallery of SL's for sale all over the country. You'll get a decent feel for price ranges there. |

In watching these 107's for a year I would guess it will bring in the Twenties or maybe more but nothing scientific here. Seems to have everything in its favor, color, miles, condition and year. The top of the 107 food chain. I will be interested to hear what it does sell for. It was $64,000. or so new.

SL price?
Since it appears to be in excellent condition,I would say anything under $20,000 would be a good deal.If you got it for 18 or 19,that would be a very good deal.Of course it all depends on how motivated the seller is.If it was mine,I would hold out for low twenties.
Good luck,ch7ckc |

The owner wants $27,500 but got it lowered to $24,500. Im thinking of offering him $22.900. That sounds fair?? If this SL is placed near a newer one, this 89 will get more looks. Im thinking that Im going to make a high offer. I want to know all of your opinions. Thanks

Sounds like a nice car, good color combination.
Anything in the low twenties, assuming he can document the mileage and service history, is a good buy. At that price you should demand perfection.
