106,000. I bought it used so I have no history on replaced parts. I'm have th emechanic that I use look at it.

Your mechanic should be able to tell if any of those parts are shot. Ball joints and tie rod ends can break with very undesirable results. Do you have any play in the steering? That can cause your symptoms too.

Try driving it without a power stearing belt for awhile. It could be the valving in the PS box is sticking.

Put it on a lift yesterday. The mechanic and I looked at, felt, tugged on everything movable. Everything was tight. He suggested (as someone earlier did) an alignment. He said it is out of alignment and that would be the place to start. I have an appt to have that done today. Will let you know if it helps. The car didn't do the wandering thing until about 2 or 3 months ago.
