How do you put those damn speaker covers back?
560sl. The shop removed the speaker covers and when they replaced them, only put in the screws at the bottom and didn't get the clips to hook. I spent a good while trying, but no luck. Any tips?

I used an ice cream stick to wedge the clips open, sliped it out once they engaged.

I use two 12" fealer blades ~ 0.010", placed under the crossbar and then slid behind the two tangs on the cover. Slide the cover up with the fealer blades in place and then pull the blades out.

Ok next question.
Well the popsicle stick worked great. I went to do the passenger side grill, and it has the clips, but no bar across the top of the speaker like on the driver side. I actually went to the dealer and they don't have that bar anywhere in their system. Does anyone know if the passenger side speaker has the bar as well. I think it should because the grill has the clips. In any event, I resorted to doublestick tape. But I am curious. Thanks.
